1. What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and password (stored as a one-way hash), and the time you accepted our terms.
- Access keys, only if you add any yourself under Advanced settings, with the name of the computer they came from.
- An activity log: logins, publishes, rollbacks, key and setting changes, and the IP address they came from.
- Billing: held by Stripe. We keep your Stripe customer id, the last four digits of your card, and the status of each invoice. We never see full card numbers.
- Hosting logs with IP addresses, kept for 30 days.
2. Why we use it
To provide the service, bill you, keep your account and our platform secure, and email you about your account and your onboarding. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
3. Where it lives
Our platform and the hosting that runs customer apps are located in [hosting region — to be confirmed]. Payments are processed by Stripe. Emails are sent through our email provider. Each of these processes data on our behalf under their own terms.
4. Your app's visitors
Data your app collects belongs to you and is your responsibility; we process it only to host your app. If your app collects personal information, you are the responsible party under POPIA (or the controller under GDPR) for it.
5. How long we keep it
- Account data: while your account is active, plus 30 days.
- Billing records: as long as the law requires.
- Backups of your records: 14 days.
- Deleted-app archive: 30 days, then gone.
6. Your rights
You can access, correct, delete and export your data. Your account does most of it: your profile, your team, your activity, and a download of your app and its records. For anything else, email us and we will help within we reply within two business days.
7. Cookies
We set one session cookie so you stay logged in. No trackers, no advertising cookies.
8. POPIA and GDPR
Our information officer and data-protection contact is security@apps.fibonacci-group.co.za. You also have the right to complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa) or your local data-protection authority.
