1. Who we are
Launchpad is operated by Launchpad, registered in South Africa (registration TODO, VAT TODO), of . Prices are in US dollars. You can reach us at hello@launchpad.app.
2. The service
We provide hosting, storage, web addresses, publishing tools and an app builder for one web application per subscription. You direct the builder by describing what you want; you are responsible for the application you build and publish, including what it does and the data it collects.
3. Your account
You agree to give us accurate details and to keep them up to date. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything done with it. If you invite other people to your team, you answer for what they do in your app.
4. Fees and trial
$200 USD per app per month, billed monthly in advance through Stripe. A 14-day free trial applies once per customer; a card is required and is charged at the end of the trial unless you cancel. Where tax applies it is added at checkout and shown before you pay. Our Refund policy explains when we refund.
5. Your content and code
You own your code, your data and your domain. You grant us only the rights needed to host, back up and display them to you. You can download everything from your dashboard at any time.
6. Acceptable use
Our Acceptable Use Policy is part of these terms. In short: use Launchpad to run your own application, and do not use it to harm other people or other systems.
7. Availability
We work to keep the service running, but we do not promise a particular uptime and there is no service-level agreement. We announce planned maintenance by email in advance where we can.
8. Suspension and termination
If you break these terms we follow the ladder in the Acceptable Use Policy: a warning by email, then a pause, then deletion if the problem is not resolved. If a payment fails, your app keeps running for 7 days while we email you, is then paused, and is deleted after 30 days paused with reminders 7 days and 1 day before. You can export your code and data at any time up to deletion. You can cancel from your dashboard whenever you like; your app runs to the end of the paid month.
9. Third parties
Your builder is powered by Claude, made by Anthropic and used under Anthropic's terms; building is included in your subscription within a fair-use allowance, and we do not resell Anthropic's services. Payments are processed by Stripe under Stripe's terms. We are not responsible for those services.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim connected to the service is capped at the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Changes
We may change these terms. We give at least 30 days' notice by email before a change takes effect. If you keep using the service after that, the new terms apply.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of South Africa, and the courts of South Africa have jurisdiction, without taking away rights you have as a consumer where you live.
